Most clients find the treatment very manageable. A numbing cream may be applied beforehand to help minimise discomfort, although you may feel a light scratching or prickling sensation.

You may experience redness, warmth, mild swelling or sensitivity after treatment, similar to mild sunburn. This usually settles within 24–72 hours.

Your skin may appear fresher once the initial redness has settled, but collagen production develops gradually. More noticeable improvements usually appear over the following weeks.
